In the last 5 months, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Robert and Bettina’s Tiny House on two separate occasions! The house is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Plus, Robert and Bettina have always gone out of their way to ensure I’m well taken care of.
Esk’etemc has been one of the most welcoming places I’ve ever visited; it has a rich history and community members are eager to share about its fascinating past. I’ve been lucky to tour some of its breathtaking surroundings but I’m especially appreciative of Robert and Bettina taking the time to point me in the right direction, or inviting me to join their family on outdoor adventures!
I can’t wait to return so I can continue to discover and be inspired by everything the small community has to offer!
The Tiny House is a fantastic getaway for anyone looking to enjoy getting away from the fast paced lives we live in!
It is truly like living in a piece of art. The finishing touches are incredible. The location is very quiet and peaceful. It’s a great place to meditate, journal, read, catch up on sleep, enjoy fresh air, marvel at the stars and sunsets out your windows, or even enjoy a few of the movies offered in the tiny house! We took a beautiful drive and the scenery is breathtaking.
The hot tub is a wonderful start to your day or a great place to watch the stars!
Robert and Bettina are wonderful hosts. So passionate about their work and sharing their community and culture. Truly incredible people. You certainly leave the tiny house feeling rejuvenated
The tiny house would make a great gift idea for busy parents to sneak away, or for someone who needs to get away from it all and wind down. It’s truly a gift! I feel so blessed to have come across this magical gem.
When my friends and I decided to take a trip up to the Tiny House, we had no idea just how incredible our weekend would be. Robert and Bettina were the perfect hosts, going above and beyond to welcome us into their beautiful home and inspiring community. We spent our relaxing weekend with their family as we enjoyed outdoor winter sports (ice skating, sledding, and cross-country skiing!) and had the amazing opportunity to learn about local customs, traditions, and history. The surrounding nature was so breathtakingly beautiful and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed and more — but what really made this an incredible and invaluable experience was Robert and Bettina sharing their knowledge of the land and community. The cultural exchange is something my friends and I will never forget. We plan on making a yearly trip up to the Tiny House! This home is ideal for family vacations, trips with friends, romantic getaways — no matter your reason for visiting, Alkali Lake and the Tiny House will be sure to exceed your expectations!
